The Region

In the heart of the southern Rhône Valley, among sun-warmed pebbles and Mediterranean
light, the Vignerons du Castelas cultivate their vineyards across a mosaic of terroirs, including one
of the most distinctive in the appellation: Côtes du Rhône Villages Signargues.

Our Story

The Vignerons du Castelas were founded in 1952, when a group of winegrowers chose to
join forces.

Their shared vision: to craft Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages Signargues,
Tavel, and IGP Gard wines, guided by a deep-rooted commitment to quality.

The Winegrowers

For generations, each has followed in the footsteps of the previous, guided by the same
desire to pass on their expertise and a profound respect for the land. Over time, the cooperative has
grown, welcoming new families while preserving the knowledge and traditions of its founding
winegrowers.

Today, the vineyards cover 450 hectares, primarily within the Côtes du Rhône appellation.

The winegrowers manage their vineyards with care, honoring the men and women who make this
work possible, perfectly balancing the challenges of today’s climate changes with the expression of
the terroir.

The Terroir

Here, the diversity of the soils shapes every nuance of the wines. Rounded pebbles warm the vines
under the Mediterranean sun, sandy marls lend delicate finesse, and clay-limestone soils provide
structure and harmony.

The result is a collection of wines that are refined, elegant, and deeply expressive of their
terroir — a true reflection of the land and its character.
